Polarized lenses offer the perfect solution to the problem of glare, through their ability to select the harmful rays which reach our eyes. Daylight travels in waves oscillating in three dimensions, where as polarized light travels mainly in two dimensions, horizontally and vertically. Vertical light delivers useful information to the human eye, enabling us to see colors and contrast, while polarized lenses however, block the horizontal light and only allow light through that can be best processed by the eye.
